If the Beam Could Talk

By Jill Gosche

“If the Beam Could Talk” explores the impact of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on Tiffin, Ohio, documents the history of Tiffin Police and Fire All Patriots Memorial, located at Washington and Water streets near downtown Tiffin, and memorializes local first-responders killed in the line of duty. Citizens of Tiffin and Seneca County, though geographically distant from New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, were not immune to the heartbreak the country and world experienced when terrorists attacked the United States and claimed thousands of lives. The citizens’ resolve to leave the world a better place is evident.
